The Rite of Confirmation for youth is one in which a young person confesses for themselves what their parents confessed for them at the time of their baptism. Confirmation is not an end to training in the faith, but rather a beginning of a new journey in faith as a young adult in the church. St. John youth, under Pastor Dan's Instruction and guidance, have covered The Ten Commandments, Lord's Prayer, Baptism, The Sacrament of the Altar, Confession and the Creeds from the Small Catechism, a book written by Rev. Dr. Martin Luther, that provides a Biblically accurate and simple guide for outlining the Lutheran faith.

Upon completion of the Confirmation curriculum, students publicly affirm their faith in Christ through the Rite of Confirmation on Confirmation Sunday.
