Three girls and two boys have received instruction from Pastor Dan for two years. On Sunday, May 31st, the students will demonstrate their understanding of basic Christian doctrine before being confirmed next Sunday and receiving their First Communion. The examination centers on Martin Luther’s Small Catechism, focusing on the Six Chief Parts of Christian faith. The questioning primarily tests their fundamental knowledge, their ability to apply Scripture to daily life, and their readiness to partake in the Lord's Supper.
